Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pipeline stress analysis using AutoPIPE and CAESAR II software.
- Develop stress models for onshore pipelines and piping systems in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Conduct flexibility analysis and support evaluations to ensure the safety and reliability of piping systems.
- Prepare and review deliverables, including stress analysis reports, load case definitions, support design recommendations, and stress isometrics.
- Interface with piping, civil, structural, and process teams to resolve multidisciplinary design challenges.
- Provide technical support during design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments.
- Ensure designs meet ADNOC and international standards, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in pipeline/piping stress engineering within onshore oil and gas projects.
- Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Design, and Detailed Engineering phases.
- Proficiency in AutoPIPE and CAESAR II software.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- ADNOC project experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
