Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Pilot Ground School Instructor is responsible for conducting all aspects of Flight Deck Crew training in accordance with the GACAR s and the company's policies, goals and objectives to ensure that all Flight Deck Crew maintain a high level of standards in safety and technical knowledge.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive ground school instruction to pilot trainees in accordance with approved training syllabi and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and visual aids, to support effective learning outcomes.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and enhance Pilots group comprehension and retention.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, tests, and other evaluation methods to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Offer constructive feedback and guidance to Pilots to help them overcome challenges and achieve their learning objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in aviation training to ensure the relevance and currency of training content.
- Work closely with other instructors, training coordinators, and support staff to coordinate training activities and maintain a cohesive training environment.
- Keep accurate records of training activities, Pilots performance, and instructional materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
