Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical abilities and diagnose movement dysfunction using specialized tests and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, including joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and therapeutic exercises to restore function and alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and injury prevention strategies, fostering self-management skills.
  • Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines for documentation and confidentiality.
  • Adapt treatment approaches to accommodate the diverse cultural backgrounds and needs of patients in the UAE.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or HAAD (Health Authority – Abu Dhabi) license, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably within a UAE healthcare setting.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports-related injuries.
  • Exhibits strong manual therapy skills, including experience with joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques.
  • Proficient in prescribing and implementing therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
