Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging physical education curricula that promote lifelong fitness and healthy lifestyles among students.
- Assess students' physical abilities and progress regularly, providing tailored feedback to enhance individual performance and growth.
- Organize and supervise a variety of sports and physical activities that cater to different skill levels and interests, fostering inclusivity.
- Develop strong relationships with students, encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship while instilling a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in exercise science.
- State certification or licensure in physical education teaching, demonstrating compliance with educational standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a school setting, showcasing the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Experience in coaching or leading sports teams, highlighting a commitment to developing students' athletic skills and teamwork.
