Periodontics-Faculty CITY UNIVERSITY AJMAN

City University Ajman is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join as a Periodontics Faculty Member in the College of Dentistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and didactic instruction, supervising dental students, contributing to research, and participating in academic development. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative academic environment, shaping the next generation of dental professionals.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate student learning and provide effective instruction in periodontics courses, ensuring alignment with program objectives and current clinical standards.

Supervise and guide dental students and interns in clinical sessions, ensuring proper case selection, treatment planning, and patient care in periodontology.

Deliver lectures, seminars, and hands-on training sessions, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices in periodontology.

Develop course curriculum, instructional materials, clinical protocols, and assessments that reflect the latest advancements in periodontics.

Evaluate student performance in both pre-clinical and clinical settings, providing constructive feedback and mentoring to enhance clinical competence.

Conduct and support scholarly activities, including research, publications, and participation in conferences relevant to periodontology.

Participate in program-level learning assessments, accreditation processes, and curriculum reviews to maintain academic excellence.

Collaborate with faculty members in interdisciplinary teaching, research projects, and academic committees within the College of Dentistry.

Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols in all clinical teaching activities.

Participate in faculty development programs and stay current with advancements in periodontology and dental education.

Maintain accurate student records, clinical documentation, and timely submission of grades and reports as per university policies.

Contribute to community service initiatives and outreach programs organized by the university.

Attend departmental meetings, exhibitions, and other academic events, performing additional duties as assigned by the Dean or department head.
