Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and strong domain knowledge in Banking. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and analyze performance tests for complex financial systems to ensure scalability, stability, and high throughput.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for banking applications (Core Banking, Internet Banking, Payments, etc.).
• Develop and maintain test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to define performance KPIs and benchmarks.
• Conduct bottleneck analysis across application, database, and infrastructure layers using tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Generate detailed test reports, analyze results, and provide performance tuning recommendations.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure system scalability, reliability, and compliance with banking standards.
  

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing / Engineering.
• Banking domain experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad.
• Solid understanding of web, API, and database performance.
• Experience with monitoring and analysis tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Cloud Performance Testing (AWS / Azure).
• Exposure to Microservices and API performance testing.
• Knowledge of Java / Python scripting for custom automation.
• Certification in Performance Testing Tools or Performance Engineering.
