Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic reviews of payroll and benefits systems in line with market salary benchmarks.
- Enter and update employee payroll data (allowances, deductions, leaves, overtime, absences, etc.).
- Prepare and process monthly payroll statements, ensuring accuracy before final approval.
- Implement employee entitlements such as periodic allowances, bonuses, and incentives.
- Track working hours, wages, benefits, and related updates.
- Coordinate with HR on appointments, promotions, terminations, and annual increments.
- Calculate and settle end-of-service benefits and final settlements for departing employees.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari labor law, social security, and insurance regulations.
- Execute payment orders through electronic systems or payroll checks.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll and entitlements.
- Prepare periodic payroll, cost, bonus, and tax reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and employee settlements.
- Strong knowledge of Qatari labor laws and payroll compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication in Arabic (English is a plus).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
