Job Description

The role of a Patient Administration Executive is crucial in ensuring smooth and effective administrative operations within healthcare facilities. The Patient Administration Executive is responsible for managing patient-related processes, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
  • Manage patient intake procedures to ensure accurate and efficient processing of information.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and manage the clinical calendar.
  • Maintain and update electronic health records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries and healthcare-related questions.
  • Assist in the billing process by verifying insurance information and facilitating payment procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
  • Develop and implement administrative systems to improve office efficiency and patient service quality.
  • Prepare reports for management regarding patient flow, revenues, and other administrative metrics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare administration or patient service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle patient interactions tactfully.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards regarding patient information.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
