Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A Pathologist is a medical professional specializing in the diagnosis and study of disease. Working primarily in laboratory settings, Pathologists play a vital role in patient care. They are responsible for analyzing bodily fluids and tissues to diagnose diseases, conduct postmortem examinations, and provide information critical to understanding disease progression and treatment efficacy. The findings generated by Pathologists are crucial for doctors to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Analyze medical samples to identify diseases and abnormalities in tissues.

- Perform laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and bodily fluids.

- Train and mentor laboratory technicians and medical staff in procedures.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration for complex medical cases.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) with specialization in Pathology is required.
- Valid medical license to practice as a Pathologist.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report generation.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and clinical testing tools.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Adept at interpreting complex medical reports and diagnostic data.
