Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Support the Head Pastry Chef in daily pastry kitchen operations and service execution
- Prepare and execute Italian pastries, desserts, baked goods, and dolci to exacting brand standards
- Ensure consistent mise en place, production planning, and stock control
- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and commis staff
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance
- Assist with recipe standardisation, quality control, and cost management
- Uphold presentation standards aligned with a luxury Italian dining experience
- Minimum 4 6 years professional pastry experience in premium or fine-dining environments
- Demonstrated experience with Italian pastry and dessert techniques
- Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or strong Pastry Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a structured, high-volume kitchen
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards
- Candidates must be available to start by 1 February 2026 (or shortly after)
