Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods that showcase creativity and technique, ensuring each item meets high aesthetic and taste standards.
- Develop and innovate new recipes that align with seasonal ingredients and current dessert trends, pushing the boundaries of traditional pastry making.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of pastry items for events and menu offerings, ensuring timeliness and quality under pressure.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure health compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized pastry school to ensure foundational knowledge and skills.
Minimum of 1 year of professional pastry kitchen experience, demonstrating progression in responsibilities and creativity.
Previous experience in high-volume pastry production environments, showcasing ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Proficient in various pastry techniques, including but not limited to chocolate work, sugar art, and dough preparation.
