1. Background

This is a leading dermatology center that provides high-quality clinical care, with a strong focus on patient-centered service and medical excellence. The part-time nurse plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and professional front-desk experience.


2. Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this position is to provide professional nursing support to the clinic s medical and aesthetic services, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The nurse will play a key role in assisting dermatological and aesthetic procedures, carrying out STI-related sampling and testing, and maintaining high standards of infection control and confidentiality. This role is essential to supporting the clinic s mission of delivering excellence in dermatology, aesthetics, and sexual health.


3. Key Responsibilities

The part-time Nurse will work under the supervision of the Owner and the General Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:

A. Clinical Support

Prepare patients for consultations and procedures.

Assist in aesthetic dermatology procedures (e.g., skin treatments, laser, injectables within scope of nursing practice and under physician supervision).

Conduct sampling for STIs (blood, urine, swabs) in line with medical protocols and confidentiality standards.

Perform rapid and point-of-care testing (HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, etc.), ensure quality control, and report results accurately.

Ensure correct sample handling, labeling, and storage for laboratory testing.


B. Patient Care

Provide patient education on treatment procedures, aftercare, and prevention (including sexual health counseling in coordination with the physician).

Ensure respectful, confidential, and non-stigmatizing interaction with all patients.

Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting any adverse events immediately.


C. Operational & Administrative

Maintain accurate patient records, test results, and treatment documentation.

Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.

Support stock management of medical supplies, test kits, and consumables.

Collaborate with the clinic team to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.


4. Required Qualifications and Skills

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Lebanon.

Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in dermatology, aesthetics, or related fields.

Experience assisting in aesthetic procedures is a strong asset.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Basic IT skills (record-keeping, email, clinic software).

Fluency in Arabic and English required; French is an asset.

Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
