Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate the cash register, processing transactions with speed and precision while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering their questions, and assisting with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves near the register with essential items and keeping the workspace tidy.
  • Efficiently handle returns and exchanges, verifying the items and processing the transactions according to store policy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Basic math skills, capable of performing quick calculations and handling money accurately.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably as a cashier.
