Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively seek out and secure new sales opportunities, tenders, and projects within the target sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, marine, and construction.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors by understanding their specific technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical advice and support to clients on products and system requirements. This includes preparing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Prepare quotations, negotiate contract terms, and close sales deals. Ensure all commercial and technical aspects of the sale meet both client and company needs.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies in the pipes and fittings industry to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates for management.
  • After-Sales Support: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and provide effective after-sales support to resolve any technical issues or client complaints.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in technical sales, specifically within the pipes, fittings, valves, or a similar industrial sector in the UAE.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pipes (seamless & welded), fittings, flanges, and related industrial materials, as well as a strong understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., API).
  • Sales Acumen: A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport quickly and work collaboratively with both clients and internal teams.
  • Other: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory. The candidate must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
