Role Overview

The Organizational Development Consultant will operate as an individual contributor, responsible for independently designing and delivering OD interventions across the full project lifecycle.

This includes conducting diagnostics, designing frameworks, leading stakeholder sessions, and developing actionable organizational strategies. The consultant will collaborate directly with Foregrounds leadership and the clients executive team but will remain the sole delivery lead on the OD workstream.

Key Responsibilities

1. Organizational Diagnosis

  • Lead comprehensive assessments of the clients organizational structure, leadership capability, and culture.
  • Conduct executive interviews, employee focus groups, and data analysis to identify systemic strengths and development areas.
  • Prepare a full OD diagnostic report with insights and recommendations.

2. Design and Framework Development

  • Develop organizational design models aligned with strategic goals.
  • Design interventions covering leadership alignment, culture transformation, and performance frameworks.
  • Produce detailed plans, toolkits, and implementation roadmaps.

3. Implementation and Change Enablement

  • Facilitate leadership sessions and workshops to embed organizational change.
  • Advise on implementation sequencing, communication plans, and measurement frameworks.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to ensure adoption and sustainability.

4. Project Management and Reporting

  • Manage all aspects of delivery autonomously, ensuring quality and timelines are met.
  • Provide regular progress updates and strategic insights to Foreground.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, representing Foregrounds brand values.

Required Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Organizational Development, Transformation, or HR Strategy.
  • Proven success in delivering end-to-end OD projects as an individual consultant or senior advisor.
  • Expertise in frameworks such as McKinsey 7S, Burke-Litwin, or Prosci ADKAR.
  • Strong facilitation, diagnostic, and presentation skills.
  • Confident engaging with senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
