The Job Description

1. Provision & operate OCI resources: Compute instances, Block/Object Storage, Load Balancers, Autonomous Database, and Networking (VCNs, subnets, DRGs, FastConnect/IPSec).
2. Automate deployments using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager; maintain reusable modules and CI/CD pipelines (OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
3. Implement cloud security: IAM policies, Security Zones, Cloud Guard, Vault, WAF,enforce encryption and least-privilege practices.
4. Monitor & troubleshoot: Configure Monitoring, Logging, Alarms, and Cost Analysis; drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and service-request escalations with Oracle Support.
5. Support DR & backup strategies: Schedule patching, backups, and cross-region replication; test recovery procedures.
6. Contribute to documentation: Run-books, architecture diagrams, and lessons-learned to share knowledge across the team.
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DBAs, security, and compliance teams to deliver cloud solutions on time and within budget.
   Requirements:
   

• 2+ years overall cloud/IT experience including 1 2 years hands-on OCI in a production environment.
• Proven Terraform (or equivalent IaC) skills and familiarity with OCI CLI and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Solid grasp of core OCI services: Compute, Networking (VCN design), Storage, Identity & Access Management, and Observability.
• Experience operating Linux-based systems, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and standard CI/CD tooling.
• Must have Oracle cloud infrastructure 2025 Architect Associate.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents.
