Job Title: Oracle Access Manager & Database Administrator (OID Specialist)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Job Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle Identity Management (OID) to design, implement, and manage secure access solutions and database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Oracle Fusion Middleware, Identity & Access Management, and database administration, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and compliance within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) for enterprise user authentication and authorization.

Administer and maintain Oracle Databases (11g, 12c, 19c) ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

Configure and manage Oracle Identity Management Suite (OIM, OAM, OID, OVD, OIF) integrations.

Manage SSO (Single Sign-On), LDAP, and federation configurations with other enterprise systems.

Conduct performance tuning, backup/recovery, patching, and cloning of Oracle environments.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for critical Oracle components.

Perform security audits and compliance checks to maintain access control standards.

Support application teams with Oracle database development, troubleshooting, and deployments.

Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to enhance system resilience and access governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database and identity management administration.
-
Strong expertise in Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), and Oracle Identity Federation (OIF).

In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM Cloud Control.

Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic Server.

Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos).

Experience with Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Oracle certifications (OCP, OCE, or OIM/OAM Specialist) preferred.
Preferred Experience:
-
Previous work experience in government, telecom, or financial sectors within the GCC region.

Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or NCA ECC.

Exposure to cloud-based identity platforms (OCI IAM, Azure AD, etc.).
