Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the resolution of technical problems on the optical transport transmission, NG DWDM and Synchronization part in collaboration with the UOP and/or supplier.
  • Processing of incident tickets (TT) assigned to the group.
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance of the transmission part of optical, NG DWDM, FO and Synchronization equipment.
  • Clean up of alarms detected on DWDM optical transmission equipment.
  • Run OTDR tests for various issues reported in FO support.
  • Perform the various tests (service and optical signal) using Transmission test sockets and devices.
  • Provide technical support and monitor all issues related to the transmission of interconnection links between ATM and other AT Djaawab providers and suppliers.
  • Support the NOC AT&NMS team with various tests and problems reported on FO lines and services.

  • Solid knowledge of optical networks (fiber optics, transmission, multiplexing).
  • Mastery of network supervision and diagnostic tools.

  • University studies of the Master 2 or State Engineer type in Electronics, Telecommunications, Operational Research or Computer Science.
