Operations Manager - Manufacturing & Logistics

The candidate is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations across manufacturing and warehouse sites. This role ensures seamless communication and alignment between departments such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, Distribution, and Planning. The manager will be physically present in the factories and warehouses to proactively identify issues, facilitate problem-solving, and support execution excellence.



Operational Oversight

- Ensure daily execution of production and logistics plans in line with operational targets.

- Monitor on-site manufacturing and warehousing activities to ensure compliance with schedules, safety, and quality standards.

- Act as the on-site escalation point for resolving cross-departmental operational issues.


Interdepartmental Coordination

- Facilitate real-time communication between Quality, Production, Maintenance, Distribution, and Planning teams.

- Lead regular stand-up meetings and ensure key messages, changes, or blockers are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

- Ensure alignment of daily objectives between departments and escalate critical misalignment.


Interdepartmental Coordination

- Track KPIs related to production output, warehouse accuracy, downtime, on-time shipments, and other key operational indicators.

- Report daily performance summaries to senior leadership with clear highlights of issues, delays, or improvement opportunities.


Process Improvement

- Identify inefficiencies across the shop floor and warehouse operations and propose actionable improvements.

- Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects in collaboration with department heads.


Leadership & Team Support

- Provide on-the-ground support to department heads, operators, and workers.

- Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, safety, and teamwork.

- Help enforce site rules, safety protocols, and operational discipline.




Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing operations

* Strong understanding of production workflows, warehouse processes, and interdepartmental dynamics

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make fast, informed decisions on-site
