Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Manager to oversee logistics operations with a focus on driver management, dispatch coordination, and assignment of deliveries. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure drivers are scheduled efficiently, deliveries are completed on time, and customers receive high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily scheduling, dispatching, and assignment of drivers to ensure efficient delivery operations.
  • Act as the main point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor driver performance, routes, and delivery times to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery requirements, timelines, and special requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, delivery logs, and client communications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to transportation and logistics.
  • Handle driver recruitment, onboarding, and training in collaboration with HR and operations teams.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, fuel usage, and driver productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent account management and problem resolution.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, dispatch systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety standards.
