Roles & Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the AC/HVAC installation, service, and sales division. The role requires a results-driven leader who can balance technical expertise, customer satisfaction, and business performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Plan, organize, and oversee AC/HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and technicians to optimize workflows.
  • Manage inventory, tools, and equipment needed for operations.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop new business opportunities.
  • Support pricing strategies, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets for HVAC products and services.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Develop and monitor budgets, cost control, and profitability of projects.
  • Track KPIs, operational costs, and project margins.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor technical teams, including engineers and service staff.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance technical and customer service skills.
  • Ensure proper workforce planning and deployment to meet business demands.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain adherence to HVAC industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments regularly.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • 10 years of experience in HVAC operations, including installation, service, and sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/HVAC systems, components, and service practices.
  • Proven experience in project management, sales support, and client relations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities
  • Project planning and execution
  • Technical knowledge of AC/HVAC systems and solutions
