Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary The Senior Executive – Customer Home Delivery & Last-Mile Operations is responsible for executing and monitoring daily customer home deliveries of furniture and accessories. The role focuses on driver and carpenter coordination, route planning support, vehicle optimization, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction, ensuring timely, damage-free deliveries and a positive customer experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities • Execute daily customer home delivery schedules in line with committed SLAs. • Coordinate and supervise drivers and carpentry teams for delivery and installation. • Support route planning, delivery clustering, and vehicle utilization optimization. • Monitor delivery status, POD completion, and system updates in real time. • Handle delivery-related customer issues, delays, damages, and first-level escalations. • Ensure adherence to delivery SOPs, safety standards, and service guidelines. • Track delivery performance and prepare daily reports on exceptions and closures. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key KPIs • On-time delivery performance • First-attempt delivery success rate • Customer complaint resolution TAT • Damage and return rate • Vehicle utilization and route adherence Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Business, or related field. • 3–6 years of experience in last-mile or customer home delivery operations, preferably in furniture or large-format retail. • Experience handling drivers and installation/carpenter teams. • Working knowledge of delivery scheduling, route planning, and SLA management. Skills & Competencies Strong coordination and execution skills Customer-centric and problem-solving mindset Good communication and reporting skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
