Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth running through effective resource management, process improvements, problem-solving, and cross-department coordination. The role focuses on efficiency, cost optimisation, and quality control.

Develop and execute operational strategies, including goal setting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and inventory, for maximum productivity.

Maintain quality standards, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.

Hire, train, and lead operational teams, including QA/QC/HSE functions.

Control operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Track and analyse KPIs to measure and improve operational performance.

Oversee supply chain management and inventory control.

Resolve operational issues and prevent disruptions.

Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Data analysis and decision-making skills.

Problem-solving and operational troubleshooting expertise.

Clear communication with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in operational software and systems.

Solid understanding of financial principles in operations.

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 15 years proven track record in a similar leadership position.
