Simulation Operations Technician Gulf Medical University L.L.C

The Thumbay Institute of Clinical Simulation (TICS) at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, is seeking a skilled and motivated Simulation Operations Technician to support our state-of-the-art clinical simulation center.

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about healthcare simulation, technology, and supporting immersive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-fidelity simulators and task trainers
• Support VR/AR systems and advanced AV recording platforms (SimCapture)
• Set up and reset simulation scenarios and OSCE stations
• Create moulage to enhance clinical realism
• Manage equipment maintenance, consumables, and inventory
• Provide technical and medical support during simulation sessions and CME programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Nursing, EMS, or a related field
• Foundational medical knowledge (vital signs, clinical terminology, basic anatomy & physiology)
• Strong technical skills in simulation, AV systems, and troubleshooting
• Experience in simulation labs or healthcare environments is an added advantage

• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
