Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the outpatient department, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, document medical history, and monitor ongoing conditions during consultations.
- Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and minor outpatient interventions.
- Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, care plans, and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy while promoting a professional and supportive environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, care planning, and departmental meetings.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated on best practices, guidelines, and continuing education relevant to outpatient care.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the local health authority.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient nursing or relevant clinical setting.
