Responsibilities

• Lead offshore engineering projects ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute offshore engineering activities efficiently.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff on the offshore site.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates to achieve engineering objectives.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure timelines are met effectively.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment essential for offshore operations.
• Ensure robust communication among project stakeholders to align engineering objectives and deliverables.
• Implement quality control and assurance procedures to maintain high engineering standards.
• Prepare and present detailed engineering reports to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during offshore operations swiftly and efficiently.
• Liaise with environmental and regulatory bodies to ensure all offshore operations are compliant.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize offshore engineering processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, ideally in Civil, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 10 years of experience in offshore engineering or a similar field.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore engineering operations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Certification in project management is highly desirable, e.g., PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
