Responsibilities

- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and expected outcomes.
- Monitor the progress of patients and adjust therapies accordingly to ensure optimal results.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using standard clinical methods.
- Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system to enhance service access.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques that promote physical and cognitive improvements.
- Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy to apply new techniques effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as per regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members and interns when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist or in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of therapy treatment practices and innovative intervention methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to develop tailored treatment plans addressing individual patient needs.
- Competent in documenting clinical notes and maintaining case files systematically.
