Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children, managing staff and resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development to ensure effective learning.
  • Supervise and mentor nursery staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, communicating regularly about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns, fostering trust and partnership.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Holds a relevant childcare qualification, such as a CACHE Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Holds a valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a nursery or childcare setting.
