Position Overview Overnight Leadership and Guest Experience
As the Night Manager, you will serve as the acting head of hotel operations overnight. You ll guide front office staff, handle guest needs, manage escalations, and perform the night audit, ensuring hotel standards are maintained and each guest receives personalized service from check-in to early morning departures.
What You ll Do
* Supervise night shift front office operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and service excellence
* Brief staff on VIP arrivals, special requests, and any operational changes
* Respond to guest concerns and requests with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution
* Perform manager-on-duty responsibilities in the absence of senior management
* Conduct regular inspections of public areas, lobby, and accommodations for readiness and cleanliness
* Lead the completion of the night audit process and generate daily summary reports
* Monitor and train team members, oversee performance, provide coaching, and schedule shift coverage
* Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure service continuity overnight
* Manage guest relocations during overbooked situations in coordination with Front Office leadership
* Maintain safety protocols, report suspicious activity, and act on emergency procedures as needed
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in front office supervision or management, preferably in a mid-scale or luxury hotel
* Strong familiarity with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office tools
* Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
* Flexible, solution-driven mindset with a hands-on approach
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
* Reliable decision-maker with a calm, professional demeanor during overnight hours
* Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities, including guest services, valet support, and public area checks
