Network Security SME Accenture Middle East

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the operation of Network Security services as part of the operating model, ensuring effective utilization of Network Detection and Response using Darktrace, DDoS protection using Arbor, firewall policy governance and risk analysis using AlgoSec, network sandboxing using FortiSandbox, and Web Application Firewall services using F5 WAF.

• Provide technical and operational leadership to network security teams responsible for firewall management, sandbox operations, web application protection, and threat detection across on-premises and cloud environments.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying security gaps, underutilized capabilities, and optimization opportunities across network security platforms.

• Ensure network security solutions are patched, upgraded, and operated in line with vendor recommendations and organizational security standards.

• Oversee escalation and response to network and application-layer security incidents, including DDoS attacks, advanced threats, and policy violations, ensuring proper investigation and remediation.

• Support security architecture decisions, service reporting, audits, and compliance activities, while acting as an escalation point and working closely with engineers, consultants, and other operational stakeholders

• 7-9 years of experience in information security with strong operational exposure to network security domains.

• Proven experience leading network security operations teams and supporting complex enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of NDR, DDoS protection, firewall governance, sandboxing, and web application security across on-premises and cloud platforms. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Relevant security certifications are considered an advantage.
