Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Provide first and second-level IT support for end users (on-site and remote).
  • Install, configure, and update computer systems, printers, and related equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory.
  • Support and monitor internet connectivity, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Ensure data backups and system updates are performed regularly.
  • Follow IT security policies and assist with compliance audits.
  • Support implementation of new IT solutions and infrastructure projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 5 years of experience in IT support or network administration (pharma or manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environment .
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience in helpdesk/ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM).
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and antivirus system.
  • Familiarity with data backup and endpoint security solutions.
  • IT system upgrades and security monitoring to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests under pressure.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or CCNA
