As a Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of an organization's network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the continuous functionality of network systems, focusing on the seamless connectivity and activation of both wired and wireless network systems. You will work closely with other IT professionals and department heads to optimize network performance, ensure efficient data flow, and maintain the security and integrity of sensitive information. In this role, you will also be tasked with identifying network requirements, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and troubleshooting complex issues to prevent disruptions in service. • Design and implement network configurations, including security measures to protect data integrity.
• Maintain and monitor the performance of network systems to identify any irregularities.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance network infrastructure efficiency.
• Conduct regular backup operations and enforce data security policies.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures to resolve network connectivity issues promptly.
• Manage network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls for optimal performance.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with government and industry regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to users on network processes.
• Engage in capacity planning to ensure the network can scale with organizational growth.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement network hardware upgrades and software enhancements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging network technologies.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or a similar role in IT.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, especially TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Solid understanding and experience with network security measures and tools.
• Proficiency in network hardware and software management, including Cisco products.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
