Main mission:

• Drive and operate various types of heavy project machinery for digging, earthmoving, leveling or extraction in accordance with safety regulations.

Attributions (t ches et responsabilit s):

• Carry out maintenance on machines and check that they are working properly.
  
• Carry out the usual technical checks every morning.
  
• Ensure you have the necessary travel documents.
  
• On the instructions of the manager, take note of the work carried out.
  
• Maneuver the machines according to the terrain and the work to be carried out.
  
• Grading soils or stripping embankments and shoulders; digging tunnels.
  
• Dig the support (trench level, flat base, dome, excavation base) in the area concerned.
  
• Level the ground (shoulder, ditch, road) according to the marking points.
  
• Collect, load and transport extraction materials and spoil.
  
• Restore a natural appearance to the completed project (embankments, surface).
  
• Ensure the movement and transport of products to the planned locations.
  
• Ensure correct and secure loading of products.
  
• Apply the safety rules.
  
• In the event of an accident, make a report, make declarations and inform management.
  
• Keep the vehicle logbook and the scheduled maintenance technical sheet up to date.
  
• Ensure the interior and exterior washing as well as regular maintenance of the machine; may be required to carry out simple repairs.
  

In terms of QHSE:

• Respect the general safety instructions and rules in force within the company and on the project site.
  
• Apply the procedures and rules defined within the framework of the Integrated Management System.
  
• Wear collective and individual protective equipment (CPE and PPE) appropriate to the project.
  
• Follow the manufacturer's safety instructions in the equipment or machine user manual.
  
• Check the condition of the equipment to ensure there are no faults that could harm safety and/or the environment, and report any anomalies noted.
  
• Maintain the equipment after each use, check and report any leaks (water, fuel, oils) to avoid waste and environmental pollution.
  
• Drive, handle and use equipment professionally and carefully, in strict compliance with safety rules.
