Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed 3D mechanical models (HVAC, plumbing, piping) in Revit in coordination with other disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage; resolve issues proactively through coordination meetings.
- Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications and convert them into accurate BIM models.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout project phases, ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
- Create and manage parametric Revit families and maintain model integrity according to BIM standards.
- Support project teams with BIM-related tasks, including shop drawing extraction and quantity take-offs.
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modeling stand.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical BIM modeling for MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical system design, layout, and coordination.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects is a plus.
- Ability to interpret construction documents and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
