Roles & Responsibilities
Finance Department | Full-Time | Bahrain
A leading organisation in the luxury retail sector is seeking a skilled MIS & Data Reporting Specialist to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data accuracy, financial analysis, and operational reporting—and wants to contribute directly to informed decision-making at a fast-growing company.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering accurate MIS reports, ensuring reliable product costing, and supporting management with actionable financial insights. This position plays a key role in pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and maintaining data integrity across systems.
Key Responsibilities
MIS Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and performance reports
- Develop boutique-wise, collection-wise, and consolidated dashboards
- Produce inventory, stock ageing, SKU, and turnover analyses
- Generate profitability, variance, and promotional performance reports
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support to Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales
Costing & Financial Analysis
- Maintain accurate product costing and analyse cost variances
- Support pricing decisions and margin optimisation
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Data Management & Automation
- Maintain data integrity across reporting systems
- Automate and streamline dashboards using Excel and related tools
- Conduct data validation, reconciliations, and audits
Key Stakeholders
You’ll work closely with:
- Merchandising, Sales & Marketing, and Treasury teams
- Factory and boutique staff
- Selected external partners and collection designers
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or Finance
- MBA in Finance is a plus
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in MIS reporting, costing, or financial analysis
- Experience in retail or jewellery is an advantage
Skills
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, functions)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX)
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
