Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly weld metal components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding processes, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements, including material type and weld size.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and preheating as needed to achieve optimal weld quality and penetration.
  • Set up welding equipment, adjusting voltage, amperage, and gas flow to match the specific welding parameters required for each job.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and understanding.
  • Completion of a welding certification program (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus, providing proof of formal training and skill.
  • Possession of relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) is required, highlighting the ability to perform specific welding tasks.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, showcasing practical application and proficiency.
