We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG and Arc Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in welding, using both Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Arc welding techniques to produce high-quality, durable metal joints. The MIG and Arc Welder will be responsible for the preparation, setup, and execution of welding tasks, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of all fabricated metal products. The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals, read and interpret blueprints, and adhere to rigorous safety standards to deliver top-notch welding work. Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for welding by cleaning and arranging them.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
• Operate both MIG and Arc welding equipment with high proficiency and attention to detail.
• Assess each welding project to determine the most suitable welding method and equipment.
• Ensure completed welds meet quality and safety standards through rigorous inspections.
• Maintain welding equipment in optimal condition by conducting regular inspections and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete welding projects as scheduled.
• Apply proper safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
• Document all welding activities and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Troubleshoot any issues with welding equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Participate in training sessions to improve welding techniques and learn new methods.
• Ensure workspace is clean, organized, and free from potential hazards at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG and Arc Welder, with a strong welding skill set.
• Thorough knowledge of welding safety protocols and practices for safe operations.
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours and overtime, if required, to meet project deadlines.
