Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise daily MEP site activities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, ELV systems).
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate between MEP subcontractors, civil, and finishing teams to avoid clashes and delays.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Report site progress and issues to the MEP Engineer / Project Manager.

2. Coordination & Communication

  • Attend site coordination meetings.
  • Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate inspection requests (IRs) with QA/QC and consultants for approval.
  • Follow up on site changes and prepare as-built markups.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections before consultant approval to minimize rework.
  • Verify materials and equipment are as per approved submittals.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities.

4. Health, Safety & Environment

  • Ensure all MEP works follow safety procedures.
  • Report unsafe practices and incidents to the HSE officer.
  • Conduct toolbox talks for MEP crews when necessary.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain site logs, daily reports, and inspection records.
  • Prepare daily manpower and progress reports.
  • Support MEP engineer in preparing work progress summaries.

6. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Assist in system testing and commissioning for MEP services.
  • Ensure punch list items are completed before handover.
  • Support in preparing O&M manuals and as-built drawings.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in MEP supervision (fit-out or building projects).
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
