Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all on-site mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities to ensure project delivery aligns with contractual requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless execution of mechanical works.
  • Supervise and lead site teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Monitor project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions to address delays or issues.
  • Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Manage resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize site productivity.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, site documentation, and project updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and site conflicts promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over according to project requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 7 years of proven experience in MEP site management, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within large-scale facility management or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site (office-based arrangement) as required by project demands.
