Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, variations, and claims ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in pre-contract and post-contract cost management.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures.
- Prepare and verify progress payment certificates and recommend interim valuations.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients for contractual and commercial matters.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company policies, and UAE construction regulations.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, correspondences, and contracts for audit and dispute resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying MEP Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an MEP QS in UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
