Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of MEP installations, ensuring adherence to approved shop drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Oversee and document all MEP testing and commissioning activities, including performance verification and system functionality checks.
  • Review and approve MEP submittals, including material samples, shop drawings, and method statements, to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality control reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve MEP-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and control the quality of materials and workmanship for all MEP systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality procedures during MEP installation and commissioning.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to site staff on MEP quality control procedures.
  • Participate in regular site meetings to discuss MEP progress, quality concerns, and potential solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans accurately.
  • Proficient in using quality control software and tools for inspection, reporting, and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant international standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
