Job Description

This MEP Engineer role with Parsons Corporation in Dubai focuses on supervising mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for major infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on irrigation pumping stations and asset handover. The role involves design review, procurement coordination, testing and commissioning oversight, and providing technical support throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site supervision activities including design review, planning, project monitoring, and testing and commissioning
• Advise the client and project management team on technical matters related to mechanical equipment procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Attend factory acceptance tests and site tests required for successful completion and handover of mechanical assets
• Develop scopes of work, engineering schedules, and project budgets, ensuring alignment with delivery milestones
• Identify and track scope changes and support procurement planning for assigned project elements
• Interface with procurement and subcontracting teams to support bid processes and technical evaluations
• Coordinate technical personnel assignments across engineering disciplines
• Assist the Project Manager in managing technical, financial, and administrative project functions
• Determine required engineering skills and staffing levels for project completion
• Ensure client scope and technical requirements are met across MEP disciplines
• Prepare action items following client and internal coordination meetings
• Produce technical documentation, reports, and updates for client and project stakeholders
• Review and distribute technical and contractual information to relevant teams
• Carry out other MEP responsibilities as required for successful project delivery
