Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for building projects in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems in project designs.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Supervise and inspect on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and guide contractors/subcontractors.
  • Perform calculations and simulations for load, energy efficiency, and system performance.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and prepare progress reports.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
  • 3 5 years of proven experience in MEP engineering within construction/building services.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and supervision.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant engineering software.
  • Familiarity with local and international codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site as per project requirements.
