Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the Facilities Management (FM) division, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering safe, reliable, and efficient operations in Oil & Gas facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEP systems across assigned facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry standards, technical codes, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality FM services.
  • Conduct technical assessments, prepare reports, and recommend solutions for system improvements.
  • Support project planning, execution, and monitoring for civil and MEP-related works.
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with significant exposure to Facilities Management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and Oil & Gas FM operations.
  • Proficiency in engineering design and analysis software/tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
