MEP Electrical Engineer Thaksh Contracting LLC

We are looking for a qualified MEP Electrical Engineer with proven experience in the UAE. The candidate must be capable of handling design review, site supervision, and execution of electrical systems as part of MEP projects. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory to support site mobility and project coordination.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Prepare and review electrical design drawings, load schedules, and single line diagrams.

*Supervise site execution of lighting, power distribution, LV/ELV systems, and fire alarm installations.

*Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for technical approvals and inspections.

*Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) and international standards (IEC, BS, NFPA).

*Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

*Review and approve material submittals in line with project specifications.

*Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and resolve technical/site issues.

*Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies during all electrical works.

*Assist in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and technical proposals.

*Qualifications & Skills*

*Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Diploma in Electric Engineering.

*Minimum 3–7 years of UAE experience in MEP or construction projects.

*Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

*Familiar with MEP coordination and multidisciplinary project teams.

*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

*Key Competencies*

*Strong knowledge of UAE codes and authority approval procedures.

*Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors.

*Focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

*Adaptability and willingness to travel between project sites.
