Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP systems, tracking progress and reporting delays to stakeholders promptly.
  • Conduct rigorous quality control inspections of MEP installations to meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for MEP contractors, addressing technical queries and resolving issues in real-time.
  • Coordinate the procurement of MEP materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications, providing critical insights to project managers and design teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, maintaining thorough records.
  • Monitor site safety practices related to MEP work, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Facilitate training sessions for site personnel on MEP systems and best practices to enhance overall team competency.
  • Collaborate with commissioning agents to ensure proper system testing and handover, confirming operational readiness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in (ABU DHABI) in MEP coordination within commercial or large-scale residential projects.
  • Certifications such as LEED AP or PMP would be advantageous for project management credibility.
  • Proven experience working in diverse cultural and professional settings, ideally within multinational teams.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international projects.
  • Technical proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for effective design review.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex MEP systems and propose optimized solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and effective dialogue among various project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to maintain project documentation and schedules.
