Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare civil drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, or consultant/client comments.
  • Support site execution teams with up-to-date construction drawings and technical details.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and material estimates from drawings and specifications.
  • Support the commercial team in preparing BOQs, cost comparisons, and procurement documentation.
  • Assist in measurement verification and progress valuations.
  • Maintain quantity records in coordination with project engineers and site teams.
  • Prepare and submit drawings and documents for authority approvals.
  • Ensure that all submittals comply with local authority standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate revisions and resubmissions based on authority feedback.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to track and obtain necessary construction permits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of KSA experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiar with Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of KSA building codes and local authority procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of quantity surveying practices.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
