Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. MIS Management:Design, develop, and maintain management information systems that support organizational goals.
    Ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of MIS applications.
    Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
    Develop user manuals and provide training to staff on MIS applications.
  2. Data Analytics:Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
    Use statistical tools and techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
    Conduct data validation and ensure data quality.
  3. Reporting:Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance.
    Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and relevant.
  4. Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support data-driven decision-making.
    Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication and project execution.
    Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide data insights and recommendations.
  5. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within MIS and data analytics functions.
    Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and MIS.
    Implement new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on medical insurance systems or healthcare IT.
  • Strong experience in system implementation, technical support, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the Insurance sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and databases (e.g., ORACLE SQL/ PLSQL ).
  • Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
  • Experience with ERP systems and CRM software
