Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC provides distribution services and technology solutions to the entertainment industry. We help studios, broadcasters and digital retailers localize and distribute their feature and episodic titles to global audiences on-time and with superior quality.
Our service offerings cover end-to-end workflows including language services such as scripting, subtitling, access services, dubbing, text and metadata localization in over 50 languages. Our technical services master and prepare this content in all distribution products including digital cinema, digital media and physical media (Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD).
To date, we serviced thousands of titles for iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Movies Anywhere and others. We also authored thousands of Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD discs. Desired Candidate Profile

To support our Global Media department, we are seeking an QC Manager who can fulfill the responsibility of Quality Control for all physical and digital media, while ensuring that all security protocols are followed when dealing with sensitive material.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QC workflows for both physical and digital media.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, possesses a flexible attitude, keen eye for details and a highly effective communicator with his/her team and across QC teams, specifically in the U.S and UK. Must be able to work as part of a team that deal with changing priority and workloads.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of quality specialists for our Media operations including staff and room scheduling, ingestion of materials, training etc.
• Create procedures and workflows to facilitate QC operations and maintain its effectiveness and improvements.
• Enable and support appropriate training for existing and new staff.
• Engage with wider aspects of the business to promote cross training for multiple disciplines to ensure our staffing group as versatile in workflow capabilities as possible.
• Work with development teams to improve systems and new tools.
• Administrative tasks including but not limited to creative and managing shift coverage, work load balance and capacity reports.
• Follow internal as well as client specific security protocols.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and pass their normal scheduled shift if needed.
• Other related tasks as assigned to fulfill responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• Experience in managing a QC team in a production environment.
• Experience in QC workflows; physical and digital media as well as menu QC.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of media including audio, video, subtitles and other immersive elements such as 3D, ATMOS, DTSX, DBox etc.
• Requires accurate and methodical approach to QC. A very detailed attention and focused attitude to audio, video and film impairments and artifacts, while making subjective decision to the severity of an issue and delivering appropriate feedbacks.
• Excellent communications skills; must be clear and concise.
• Knowledge and experience in tools like DVS Clipster, Resolve, Colorfront s Transkoder is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, manage orders and work well close to deadlines while producing high quality work.
• Possess leadership quality that can drive and motivate the team in a high volume, tight turnaround and demanding production environment.
• Passionate about quality, customer experience and customer service excellence.
• Ability to work on own initiative however also be a good team player.
• A positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiastic towards getting work done.
• Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks.
Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance in production or post-production is preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in leading and managing people is preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience.
