Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team during refuelling outages at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. If you re passionate about maintaining vital equipment and ensuring plant reliability, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on valves, pumps, and related mechanical systems, ensuring high operational standards.
  • Conduct diesel diagnostic tests, including cylinder temperature and combustion pressure analysis, to ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Maintain and repair intake rake and travelling screens, including cleaning, lubrication, and coating.
  • Oversee HVAC repairs and provide online leak sealing services, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as surveillance and periodic tests to support plant operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with MOV & AOV valve refurbishing and valve maintenance.
  • Proven background in pump overhauls, including bearing, impeller, casing, and seal inspections.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and maintenance.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, filtration, and gasket replacement.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection in all work activities.
